Do Businesses Really Need Managers? Business troubleshooter Dr Paul Thomas doesn't think so. Paul believes managers just hold their organisations back - and he's on a mission to eradicate management in Wales. He wants to see workers have the freedom to be innovative - and to have fun. So, Paul works with private firms and public sector organisations, telling them the bosses shouldn't "command and control" their staff. Instead, everyone should be working together. But can he convince the companies he visits that his theories can work in practice? In The Business Doctor, three Wales@work specials, Nick Servini follows Paul on his journey.
