DNA Wales & the 2007 Waterton Management Challenge

The 2007 Waterton Management Challenge has come to an exciting and thought provoking finale with a House of Commons style debate between tool expert John Bicheno & Paul Thomas. Considering whether management tools help or hinder organisational performance, the informal and interactive style of debate allowed for a stimulating discussion and the airing of challenging and contrasting opinions.

Designed to develop critical management reflection in organisations, the final debate was a fitting end to the 2007 Waterton Management Challenge series. The series started in January with Shay McConnon’s entertaining and magical discussion on developing leadership not just leaders and followed in February with Elizabeth McMillan’s thought provoking ideas of examining Natures Toolbox.

Event reviews attest to the success of this years Waterton Management Challenge, with attendees reporting the concept of complexity science fascinating and a wide opinion that the contrasting views presented really challenged their perspectives of management and leadership values.

We would like to extend our thanks to all event attendees, sponsors and organisers for their support in making the 2007 Waterton Management Challenge such a success.
